EXPERIENCE:
Wildcat TV, Blue Springs High School

At Blue Springs, I was executive producer for my senior yer of our school's broadcasting station. I routinely anchored, wrote, and would put together out weekly shows often while also making my own news segments.
The Laramie Project - School Film
In replacement of our school play due to COVID-19, I helped direct, shoot, and edit with three other students to produce The Laramie Project, a play written after the death of Matthew Shepard with a screen time of one hour and twenty-four minutes.
Apprenticeship - Matt Hawley
I have worked under a local Kansas City filmmaker, Josh Hawley, on a project for the Kansas City Parks & Recreation Department to make a video highlighting our local parks, specifically Penguin Park. I assisted in interviewing locals in the area, getting permissions to film, and operating the camera. After this project, I returned a year later to assist him with making videos for his YouTube channel for the Steamboat Arabia Museum!
Internship - Bema Films
While I studied abroad in New Zealand, I had the chance to assist Bema Films, a local production company consisting of hard working expats looking to bring together the Christchurch community through film. I mainly assisted in directing, writing, and editing but still am in contact and helping from the sidelines to this day.
